Team OptiMiStic!

During a shoot for iwalkbecause.org I had the privilege of spending three days with 7 incredible women who walked 50 miles for a great cause--the National Multiple Sclerosis Challenge Walk. The most amazing part is that 5 of these women have MS, but you would never know it by their spirit, attitude and energy! The women welcomed our crew and cameras into their world and shared with us an experience beyond words. In the end, in spite of the blisters and lost toe nails we all left with memories (and friends) we will never forget.

Eye Witness

I've always been amazed at the complexity and beauty of the iris. Even with all of the "eye contact" we make we really don't see all of the beauty including color, pattern and structure of the eye unless we get a little help from some magnification.

Throwin' some dirt.

I hooked up with former Motocross racer "Pistol" Pete Riggs as he got reacquainted with the track after a bad accident and some time off. It doesn't seem he has missed a step.

Never "Two" young...

Blaine Morgan, California State Champion Lifeguard and his "not yet two" year old son Kailer having a great time in the waves off of San Onofre beach.

Guarding Life!

A little fun with the lifeguards down at San Onofre getting loose with their 300lb Dory!

Torrey Pines

The rest of my Zen Scenics...

Last of Spring

When a client called asking for "Zen Scenics" for a trade show booth, I took the opportunity to document the last bloom of our amazing wildflower season...now back to "hard hitting action" before I get a reputation as some sort of pansy!

Different views...

I hadn't shot from a pier in quite some time and this trip down to Oceanside did not dissapoint. Chuck Patterson of course added lots of "color" to a scene that exemplifies Southern Cal! Chuck's website is almost complete, and of course I will post a link to it here!
